Confirmé
Duration : 2 days
Meeting : 2pm at the Glacier Blanc refuge (2550 m).
Collective : 400 € per person (from 2 up to 2 participants)
Private : 750 € global (until 2 participants)
It is a very complete tour whose main attraction comes from the ascent of the beautiful straight corridor that leads to the summit. The day does not end there and the crossing of the ridges leading to La Roche Émile Pic and the downhill pass - sometimes snowy, sometimes rocky, according to the conditions - adds a lot to the atmosphere of this very beautiful ascent.

Access

The Refuge du Glacier Blanc is accessible by foot from the Mme Carle’s meadow where you can leave your vehicle (large car park). About 700 m of ascending elevation on the way up. To access “Pré de Mme Carle”, you have to go through the valley, from L’Argentière la Bessée (Hautes Alpes), Vallouise, Pelvoux and Ailefroide. There is a train station at L’Argentière la Bessée (“L’argentière les Écrins").

Level

It is necessary to have a certain ease in cramponing, in order to be able to climb up with crampons a corridor of 200 m at 45°, and climb in 3° degree in the mountains, with mountaineering shoes and a backpack. This implies having a very good physical condition and a certain ease in the "mountain" terrain.
 Rating "PD+" (little difficult +)
