Freerando is a mix between resort and ski touring. The idea is to go up a little to go down a lot. From the top of the lifts and with your skins on, you’ll be able to find the best skiing or snowboarding conditions away from the busiest itineraries. [1]

Programm

Depending on conditions From the resorts of Pelvoux or Puy St Vincent, for access to La Blanche or Col de Bal. But also from the many resorts in the Briançonnais area (Montgenèvre, Serre-chevalier, la Grave...), which offer considerable yet little-known potential.

DVA (“arva”), shovel, probe (provided by the Ecrins guide bureau if necessary).
Helmets compulsory for minors.

Access

Level

Know how to ski on red runs in all types of ungroomed snow. ESF Class 3 level.

Knowledge of off-piste skiing is required. If this ski tour is of a modest level, it is for good skiers.

Price

This price includes:

– Supervision by a mountain guide from the Bureau des Guides et accompagnateur des Écrins.
– the loan of a DVA (“arva”) / shovel / probe pack, if required

This price does not include:

– Resort lift pass
– Ski touring equipment rental (skis, poles, boots, skins and ski crampons).
