Meeting :
Guides’s office in Ailefroide on Monday morning, 8 am.
This 4-day educational stay offers you the opportunity to learn in the practice of traditional climbing, the "trad climbing". Gently and gradually, this stay offers you to be able to familiarize yourself with the progression in climbing by protecting yourself by your own means: jammers, "friends", straps.
Programm
– Program to be defined with the Guide according to the level of the participants and their experience.
Equipment
– Mountain trousers
– Warm underwear
– warm fleece jacket
– waterproof and breathing jacket
– sunglasses, sunscreen for face and lips
– backpack, middle size (30 to 40 liters)
– You can have a second small 20-litre climbing bag to climb and leave your larger bag at the bottom of the tracks. It is not systematic to climb with the bag but it can happen. There are climbing bags with hardware carriers on the straps.
– gourde (minimum 1 liter), lunches and snacks, picnic
– Light walking shoes, or comfortable sneakers (if the descent of the track is done by foot, you will have to wear them with you)
– Descender, 2 screw carabiners, rope, lanyard for rappels.
– An additional pear screw carabiner.
– Possibly a magnesia bag.
– If you have jammers, "friends", you can bring them to familiarize yourself with their use.

Access
The guides’ office is in Vallouise La Casse, a shopping mall one kilometre before the centre of Vallouise from L’Argentière-la-Bessée, near the pharmacy. Road access by Grenoble-Col du Lautaret and Briançon, or by the south, Gap-Embrun and L’Argentière-la-Bessée.
Level
– This stay is for people who already have a knowledge of climbing and the mastery of basic safety techniques (rope, leader’s belay).
– Technically, you have to climb to the minimum level of 5c, second. The level of the activities can be higher, then groups of levels will be formed.

Price
Price per person.
The price includes:
– supervision by a high mountain guide.
– the loan of technical equipment common to the ropes (draws, ropes, straps, clampers, friends).
The price does not include:
– accommodation, meals
– personal expenses, drinks.
– Insurance.
– The transport from your home to the meeting place and from the place of separation.
– The possible rental of equipment.
– In general, anything not indicated in the section "The price includes".
