Climbing is a child’s play. In this activity you will find a complete and gentle sport, a school of solidarity and responsibility (your roped team). Vallouise and Ailefroide areas are full of small, intimate, varied, well-equipped and easy climbing sites. They allow the youngest among us to familiarize themselves safely with the vertical environment, without sacrificing anything to the playful side of the activity.

Programm

The sessions are structured around two axes:

– Gesture and pleasure.
– Safety through the learning of techniques.

Equipment

– Mountain trousers or jogging rather than shorts
– Warm underwear
– warm fleece jacket
– waterproof/wind stopper jacket
– sunglasses, sunscreen for face and lips
– small backpack
– gourde (minimum 1 liter), lunches and snacks, picnic
– Light hiking shoes or comfortable baskets

Departure guaranteed from 4 people. For safety reasons, a maximum of 8 per guide. From 6 years old.

Access

For one session, check with the guide.

For the 5 days course, a mini bus with 8 seats departing from Bureau des Guides de Vallouise takes you to the climbing site.

Level

Start climbing does not require any special predispositions.
– Sessions adapted according to the skills of each person, from discovery to development.
– Discovery sessions for those who have never or little practiced.
– Advanced session for those who know the rope knot, who are already climbing to level "4" or higher.

Price

Sessions of 3 hours.

* 1 session : 50 euros / per person.
* 2 sessions : 98 euros
* 3 sessions : 144 euros
* 4 sessions : 184 euros
* 5 sessions : 225 euros

Private engagement

200 euros for 3 hours.

This rate is the same as the guide’s commitment.
It is to be shared among the participants.

Rental of equipment:
Climbing shoes, helmet and harness.

Special price for the Bureau des Guides des Écrins (-10%) in all the valley’s sport stores.

The price includes :
-Supervision by a high-mountain guide.
-Transport (for the 5 days courses)

The price does not include :
- personal expenses, drinks.
- technical equipment rental.
- meals.
- transport (for one session).
- insurances.

Period

In the morning or afternoon, 2 h 30 to 3 hrs on the climbing site depending on the age.
