L’ Aiglière
The Aiglière, with its 3,307m, is the highest peak in the Vallouise accessible by hike. The difference in altitude to reach it being important and on a not always obvious ground, it is easier to spread the ascent over two days.
And to do what better than to spend the night in the middle of the mountains at the Grands Plans hut with the possibility of sleeping under the stars or sheltered in the hut, not without first having enjoyed a good barbecue prepared by your guide and having exchanged with the shepherd of Narreyroux, often installed in his hut next to our shelter.
The next day, the ascent of the Aiglière with its aerial final and above all its unique panorama on the Ecrins mountain massif, the Vallouise, the Rochebrune, the Viso and many more!
Programm
Meeting at 4pm at the Écrins guide office at Vallouise, preparation of the outing.
Transfer to Narreyroux for the ascent to the Grands Plans hut (2 153m). D+ : between 300 and 600m depending on the expectations and level of the participants.
Installation at the cabin and preparation of the meal before spending the night in the mountains indoors or under the stars, according to your wishes.
Wake up early (6:00 am) and after a good breakfast it’s time to climb the Aiglière, passing by the Neyzets lakes (2,718m).
