Via ferrata were used during the First World War in the Dolomites to travel through rock faces. They have now become more peaceful and offer people the opportunity to evolve easily in the vertical world, as here in the small gorge of the Narreyroux torrent in the heart of the larch forest.
Programm
– Ascent to Puy Saint Vincent by car at the beginning of the trail.
– A few minutes of flat path are necessary to reach the departure of the Via Ferrata which goes up the gorge of the Torrent de la Combe.
– Descent in half an hour by canals, woods and near Puy Saint Vincent to find our vehicles. End of the activity.

Rental of the safety equipment pack: lanyards, helmet, harness in all sports shops in the Valley at the special rate of the Bureau des Guides des Écrins.

Access
The Bureau des Guides et Accompagnateurs des Écrins is in Vallouise La Casse, a shopping mall one kilometre before the centre of Vallouise from L’Argentière-la-Bessée, near the pharmacy.
The departure point of the Via Ferrata access trail is located in Puy Saint Vincent, on the access road to station 1600, 500 metres after the junction 1400 / 1600 when coming from Vallouise.
