Via ferrata were used during the First World War in the Dolomites to travel through rock faces. They have now become more peaceful and offer people the opportunity to evolve easily in the vertical world, as here in the gorges of Ailefroide’s torrent. An incredible environment.
Programm
– Ascent to Pelvoux-Les-Claux by car at the beginning of the trail.
– Immediate access from the Via Ferrata which goes up the rocky banks of Ailefroide’s torrent.
– Descent in half an hour by the Pra Chapel trail to find our vehicles. End of the activity.

Rental of the Safety Equipment Pack: lanyards, helmet, harness in all sports shops in the Valley at the special rate of the Bureau des Guides des Écrins.

Access
The Bureau des Guides et Accompagnateurs des Écrins is in Vallouise La Casse, a shopping mall one kilometre before the centre of Vallouise from L’Argentière-la-Bessée, near the pharmacy.
